This book is a great example of "Don't judge a book by its cover." This statement is not reflective in regard to smooth feel of the cover, it is amazing. The title may cause some to shy away or say that's not for me. Possibly assuming that it is a male bashing, marriage dissolving, & divorce glorifying read. But when you read it, you find it is NOT! It is seemingly filled with a lot of self-reflection and revelation. I am not a sequential reader. I am more of a research reader looking for information needed at the time. I love that this book's chapters are powerful stand-alone reads. Each one is filled with truths that inspire and provoke both thoughts and actions. I hope that one day this book would evolve to an electronic version, an audio version and maybe an accompanying study guide.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
TONIA L. MITCHELL
is a Christian woman living by FAITH! She is a native Detroiter and a proud graduate of Cass Technical High School. Tonia is an avid reader and believes readers are leaders. She is a certified Life Coach and founder of Be Uniquely You (B.U.Y.) – a proactive coaching program intentionally designed to assist females of all ages in discovering and increasing their self-worth and self-esteem.
Tonia lost the greatest support of her life at the early age of 25 in losing her mother to pancreatic cancer. After battling with depression from the loss of her mother and the help of God Tonia decided to tap into her mother’s determined spirit. This tenacious spirit that dwells within her drove her to attend evening and weekend courses at Eastern Michigan University to complete her coursework earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health Administration. Some years later Tonia went on to pursue and earn a Master of Arts in Family Studies from Spring Arbor University.
